Let’s clear something up: your vape is not a leaf. It will not return to the earth. It will not gently decompose into nutrients for the soil while woodland creatures frolic nearby. It is a hunk of plastic, metal, and battery guts that will outlive most of your relationships.
And yet… people are just yeeting them into parking lots like they’re planting something. What are you hoping will grow there? A lithium tree?
Listen. We get it. Vapes are small. Disposable. Convenient. Like modern guilt. But when you ditch them like snack wrappers, you’re leaving behind a cocktail of heavy metals, microplastics, and chemical soup. That stuff leaks into the ground and ends up in water. Like the water you drink. Or the fish you eat, assuming you eat things besides vape flavors.
And here’s the kicker: there’s literally a better way. You can bring your sad little cloud stick to Cloudhead, where we actually recycle vapes. Not pretend recycle. Not “toss it and manifest good intentions” recycle. Real, responsible, disassemble-the-toxic-bits-and-turn-it-into-something-useful recycle.
So don’t just vape and vanish.
Be the change. Or at least be slightly less gross. Bring your vape back to Cloudhead, and let’s make fewer fish cry.
